Description: The Operations Manager will be a key person overseeing the day to day operations of the project. This position will be expected to coordinate with all departments to ensure proper procedures are maintained. The position will require leadership qualities to motivate staff to complete tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard. The person must be able to delegate responsibility, set priorities and manage multiple tasks. A very hands on role ensuring a quality offering to our stakeholders at all times. To oversee the operations departments at the Shopping Centre to ensure the quality of the operations is of a world class standard.

Responsibilities: To oversee the entire operations department, including administration, security, car park, cleaning, finance and facility management departments. To oversee tenant Fit out works and Capital projects. To establish and maintain world leading operating procedures in the project. To develop, recruit and manage an operations team, including an Assistant Operations Manager (Security) an Assistant Operations Manager Facilities and Cleaning and a manager Tenant and Capital projects. To develop and keep up to date a standard operating procedure manual for the project. To coordinate all operational issues and requirements with all internal departments, including leasing, development, construction and marketing. To maintain strong positive relations with all tenants, suppliers and community groups.

Requirements: Problem Solver Leadership and Management skills Strong eye for detail and understands the value in process Strong communicator with diverse stakeholders. Financial Acumen

Desired: Minimum 5 years experience in first or second operations position in a shopping centre. Degree from recognized University with preference to Business major Either BCSC Diploma in Shopping Centre Management or ICSC SCM or ASM Qualification an advantage. Retail Management or Marketing experience an asset.
